*Indiana (2003) An arrangement of the old standard Indiana and Charlie Parker's Donna Lee. Includes original lyrics and Big Band accompaniment. Live recording by the WSU Big Band and WSU Vocal Jazz Choir.

The Shadow of the Hill (2004) An original bossa nova in the style of Tom Jobim. Winner of the 2004 Lional Hampton Jazz Festival Vocal Jazz Composition Competition. Live recording by the WSU Vocal Jazz Choir with guest pianist Brent Edstrom.

Cloudburst (2004) An arrangement of the classic Jon Hendricks' tongue-twister. Inspired by the Pointer Sisters, this chart has plenty of room for improv, which builds up to a roaring polyphonic climax. Live recording by the SHS Vikolairs.

Washington, My Washington (2004) The Washington State University school song, arranged in a "Take Six" style that is both hip and jazzy. This song is a strong feature piece. Recorded live by the WSU Vocal Jazz Choir.

As Time Goes By (2007) An a cappella arrangement of the Casablanca classic. Recorded by The West Salem HS Jazz Choir.

Chromatizactly (2004) A fast chart that challenges every instrument in the band. Solis and solos build up to an exciting shout chorus and screaming lead trumpet. Winner of the 2004 Lional Hampton Jazz Festival Big Band Composition Competition. Studio recording by the WSU Big Band.

Waltz for a Beautiful Woman (2004) A Guaraldian waltz that gives the trumpets a breather. Live recording by the Hartt Big Band.

Kahlil the Prophet (2005) An arrangement of the Jackie McLean tune for Big Band and strings. Lots of room for solos, and a sax soli that sounds like something off of one of Jackie's records. Live recording by the Hartt Big Band.

A Funk for the Bunk (2010) An original inspired by the character from "The Wire". A funk tune with some tricks up its sleeve.

Cold Duck Time (2004) The classic Les McCann tune arranged for a small group. Straight-ahead arrangement, with room for solo. Recorded live by WSU Crimson Revue.

Dancin' at the Dime (2004) An original latin tune that starts out in 5/4 before going to a bridge that is nothing but mixed meter. Recorded live by the Hartt School Jazz Combo.
